The male lead isn't your typical annoying weak/good goody character. The character with the exception of one, are all likeable. Overall: You can probably compare this manga to D.Gray Man, Naruto, and Bleach in its ability to bring you into action filled battle mangas. When compared to other strictly action shounen mangas, this definitely comes on top. sometimes its a stretch, but almost!) and is just plain badass.
CODE BREAKER EPISODE 3 SUMMARY CODE
Each code breaker's power makes sense (which is a plus! well. However, the main code breaker makes up for this with his mysterious often contradicting ideology that I still can't figure.Įnjoyment: I loved the action scenes. The main character of the story doesn't seem to have much of a personality except for a save everyone even if he is evil attitude. It teaches you little by little about each code breaker and their reasons for fighting. (9)Ĭharacter: The development of the characters is very drawn out in the series. Could see what was going on in the battles and the characters are pretty well drawn. Saying "an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth" at least once every chapter.Īrt: Nothing special. Although a very interesting plot at first, I can only give the story an 8 because it is very repetitive and does not present any big plot twists or enough suspenseful moments. The manga brings up many philosophical ideas of crime and punishment especially of the death penalty and the "can people really change?" debate. For people that have committed serious crimes and escaped unscathed, there is an organization of code breakers to dispose of them. Story: There have always been people and there always will be people that will evade laws and slip past justice after committing a crime. The manga adaptation so i start a petition for that.If you want to sign or share here is the link: This will remain one of my favorites for a long time.įor me Code Breaker is a 10/10 manga with amazing charachters(i mean all of them, the villians, the code breakers, the angels). My top 3 charachters in Code Breaker are Toki(The Joker),Rui(The Guardian Angel)and Hitomi.Every main charachter is well written with a good backstory and their own aspirations and purposes. The protagonist is a very rare kind of protagonist and by that i mean he is a mcuh more of an anti-hero than a good guy.Sakura the female lead is much better than the anime version,in fact everyone is far better than hte anime version so you have to read this manga no matter what.!!!I want a faithful to Not that the anime is a waste of time, but I'm so glad I decided to experience the manga, too. Also, if you want to know if it measures up to the anime, it so clearly surpasses it. I would 100% come back to it again in the future.

The romance actually really benefited that characters' development as well, which isn't that common a find.Īll in all, a really great manga.

It didn't happen too quickly, it didn't end like you expected, and it was realistic throughout. The pacing of this specific part of the story was phenomenal. The main attraction, though, is the romance in this story. I found the manga to be quite funny, though it was also very good during its intense parts as well. The art was great as well, and I really got a feel for how the scenes were playing out- namely the action scenes. Each character's past came out at exactly the right time, and it was written beautifully.

Because of that, the pacing was also really well done. My favorite aspect of this manga is the fact that each and every main character has a rich backstory without the entire story becoming too convoluted. I'm gonna do my best here to actually review it instead of just sobbing through my keyboard, so here I go. What a brilliant and beautiful story, oh my goodness.
